The Connection: Ring Terminal Emerges from Death Stranding 2 into Reality
Step into the enigmatic world of Death Stranding 2, where the boundaries between reality and the virtual realm meld seamlessly. Today marks a milestone as Anicorn introduces the Ring Terminal, a remarkable piece of in-game item that follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, the iconic Cufflinks, now an indispensable tool for Drawbridge operatives integrated into their daily operations.
A 1:1 replica of the iconic in-game item worn by Sam and Fragile, the Ring Terminal is crafted in collaboration with Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa. Translating this symbolic object from screen to reality required a completely new design approach, balancing artistic vision with functional form. Its unconventional shape and layered structure made it far more complex than a traditional ring, demanding micro-engineered techniques to bring it to life.

Craftsmanship - from timepiece to ring:
Crafted with the artistry of watchmaking precision, the Ring Terminal stands as a testament to exceptional craftsmanship. Through the process of electroforming, metal ions are meticulously deposited layer by layer, reconstructing the intricate design of the in-game Ring Terminal with remarkable accuracy. Every detail, mirroring the intricacies of the in-game ring, is recreated in the physical replica, capturing the essence of the digital world in tangible form.
The main color of the ring is a custom hue specifically designed to mirror the in-game appearance, applied through an electroplating process. The Ring Terminal undergoes a natural oxidation process, resulting in a distinctive coloration that is both protective and enduring.
Crafted with 5th axis CNC precision and micro-injection molding techniques, the Ring Terminal consists of 30 distinct components, including intricate curves designed for exceptional precision. This construction ensures both structural robustness and modular adaptability in a compact and finely detailed form.
The Ring Terminal showcases an adjustable design with an anti-slip gear pattern, ensuring a one-size-fits-all solution. This unique feature allows the ring to comfortably fit a range of finger sizes while maintaining the scale and intricate details following by the in-game original.

Hideo Kojima is a world-renowned game creator and auteur known for pushing the boundaries of the video game medium. Widely considered the father of the stealth genre, he is also credited with innovating both story-telling and cinematic presentation in video games at large.
On December 16th, 2015, Hideo Kojima established his own studio called KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, under the banner of "From Sapiens to Ludens”. The studio will be celebrating its 8-Year Anniversary this year.

In 2020, Hideo Kojima received the BAFTA Fellowship, the highest accolade bestowed by BAFTA upon an individual in recognition of exceptional contribution to film, games or television.
On December 7th, 2023, the studio officially announced OD, in partnership with Xbox Game Studios.
